A group to help our seniors and their families

My name is Cindy and I own Heart To Heart Seniorcare. I have helped seniors for the past 8 years, and I LOVE what I do! It's my "calling" in life! I feel there is alot of seniors and their loved ones out there that need our help, whether its in-home care, a place to find resources, a support group, dementia/alzhemier's information, how a senior can stay safe in their homes, how to avoid moving a senior to a nursing home/assisted living, providing respite care for loved ones and just someplace to get some answers. This group will hopefully do all that plus more!

Political Awareness!

Your group to discuss yours, and your candidates political, global, economic, and voting history!

In this age of global turmoil, I felt it necessary to create a group that gives the average citizen an outlet for their voice and opinions!

This group allows you to post your comments, concerns, stories, and ideas on these very dynamic topics. Feel free to comment on the candidates political, global, economic and voting history.

Without an informed citizenry, we will be doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past, can we afford that in todays climate of dramatic global change, and can we allow the forces behind these changes to go undisclosed?

Savage: novel inspiration?

» Read similar stories filed under:

As a reader my ears are always perked to book signings in the area. When I saw one of my favorite authors, Jodi Picoult, will be in the area for a book signing I was immediately intrigued.

She's promoting her new book, "House Rules." Here's the synopsis of the book: "Devoted mother Emma Hunt is shocked when she and her family suddenly find themselves at the center of a police investigation after Jacob - her 18-year-old son with Aspergers's syndrome- is accused of murder in this hautning novel from the best selling author of 'Handle with Care.'"

A 169 Shadowman Update

Since I posted the story about the shadowman on 169 between Chaska and Belle Plaine, a number of people had told me that they have seen him or something strange along the highway. Most of these sightings were between Jordan and Belle Plaine.

Late night feud

I may not fit in with the majority of my age bracket, but I can't wait to bid adieu to Conan O’Brien. I have never been a fan and really dislike him. There is a fight over the remote control in my house now that the red-headed, jumping host has taken over as we’re split on liking and disliking him. When Jay Leno was winding down to leave I was seriously upset. I always watch Jay over David Letterman, I just like him best.

What an exciting year

Hi Everyone

Here is the last blog for the year and I thought I would reflect on the past year.

I have to say this has been a very exciting year for our group.

I have done more house cleansings this year then I have ever did in one year, 5 of them.

Our team was able to take a road trip to The Axe Murder house in Iowa. This was a very exciting trip for us. We are hoping to return next year.

Where are the Snow Plows?

» Read similar stories filed under:

Our Nanny State Mayor wants to spend time policing people behavior, but apparently can figure out a way to get our snow plows working.

Country Roads - Clear.
All the store Parking Lots - Clear.
Every driveway on the street (even the guy who does it without a snow blower) - Clear.

Side Streets in Savage - Piled up with snow.

Maybe they are saving money since they are planning on closing down all the business with the stupid Hwy 13 interchange.

When do we get to vote this council out?
