A Caregiver Support Group meets from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4 at the Shakopee Community Center, 1255 Fuller St., Shakopee.

The group helps caregivers learn coping skills and fosters self esteem in care giving. The discussions also help to connect to community resources and make healthy choices for the future. The meeting is facilitated by a trained facilitator from Prairie Adult Care.
