St. John the Baptist Catholic Church is having its “Raise the Roof” potluck picnic and raffle on Saturday, Aug. 2 at Warren Butler Park, 2800 Ottawa Ave., in downtown Savage.

Events begin with an outdoor mass at 5 p.m. with a potluck picnic to follow and a raffle at 7 p.m.

Only 500 raffle tickets being sold for $100. Top prize is $10,000 with second through fourth winning $1,000 each, fifth through 10th taking home $500 and 11th through 20th getting $250.

This is the last fundraising raffle for church’s roof project that is currently under construction.
