A repeat drunken driving offender was sentenced to serve two days in jail and four years of probation after she pleaded guilty to second-degree DWI-test refusal in Scott County District Court. It was the second time in 10 years that she had children in her vehicle at the time of her arrest.

Former Prior Lake police officer Michael Alan Ficken will spend a month behind bars after he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges in Scott County District Court on Tuesday morning just prior to the case going to trial.
James Arthur Ray, the leader of a sweat lodge ceremony that turned deadly in northern Arizona last October, was released from the Camp Verde jail last week after spending about 23 days behind bars.
Following two days of testimony in which defense attorneys argued that Ray couldn’t afford $5 million bail – and prosecuting attorneys argued the contrary – Yavapai County Judge Warren Darrow lowered the spiritual guru’s bail amount to $525,000, which he posted just prior to his release on Feb. 26.
