Wow, this is ridiculous. There are so many possible ways to solve the safety issues, still create ballfields (which 99 out of 100 times I pass one they are empty), that I am beginning to think all of the board members and 3 of the council members must work for, or own stock in Prior Lake Aggregates. Is anybody listening? The environment is fragile and we are killing it. This is a beautiful piece of land and hey, lets level it. Let's have flat boring land instead of wild 3D pathways under a full forest canopy. What a bunch of environmental ignorant people. Wake up Savage, it is going to be gone if we just sit and do nothing. Every Council meeting has an open forum at the beginning to voice community concerns and speak your mind freely, or call and have it added to the agenda. Lets Go people! Hey Dan Patch Trail environmentalists, are you listening? Put your money where your lawsuit is and stand up for this piece of land as well. Show us that it isn't just about your back yard!

I'm beginning to think that

I'm beginning to think that no elected officials ever reads the email comments on the Pacer website from the citizens...there was not ONE in favor of destroying this wonderful ecosystem. Obviously the people questioning if the HS should even be built, due to concern over this forest, had good reason to be worried. We, as citizens of Savage, need to inform our elected officials just where we stand on this issue now before it is too late.

Now that the Prior Lake-Savage Area School Board has unanimously approved a plan to remove SS-9, a rare woodland on bluffs above Prior Lake High School, the city of Savage will roll up its sleeves to explore all the options.
