The Timothy L. Correll Foundation will be hosting its sixth annual benefit fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club, 2920 220th St., E, Prior Lake. 

Activities will include team and individual sporting clays events, an all-you-can-eat country BBQ hog roast, a game area, silent auction, live auction, raffles and door prizes.

Proceeds from the event will go toward funding the TLC Foundation's scholarship and grant program.

The Timothy L. Correll Foundation was founded in 2003 after the death of firefighter and EMT Timothy Correll. Since then, the foundation has been dedicated to providing scholarships to high school seniors pursuing careers in fire science, emergency medicine and nursing. They also provide grants to rural and volunteer fire departments to use for further training and education.
