Brianna Kloetzke of Burnsville plays a drumline drum after the Burnsville High School drumline made a guest appearance at a summer music camp called “Join the Parade.” The camp, which met Tuesdays during July, was presented by Kindermusik of the Valley and was attended children ages 3–6 years old.  Each week the students learned about a different world culture and its music and each camp session ended with a small parade of some type. For the final camp session members of the Burnsville Blaze Marching Drumline were on hand to demonstrate their skills and lead the last parade.  A group of about 30 children and their families gathered in the yard of River Ridge Arts where each child was given a hand drum and the whole group marched through the gardens and around the yard.  Afterwards the children had a chance to play the drumline instruments.
