This year's county fair runs July 23-27. Check out these videos: The Shriners are always a popular attraction during the Dan Patch Days Parade, where they wow the crowd with their fun maneuvers. Send it to snapshots@savagepacer.com Video: Car crashes into dining roomMay 30, 2008 - 10:24am — Keighla SchmidtA car driven by a 17-year-old girl from Savage hit a home in the 14300 block of Peninsula Point Drive early Thursday afternoon (May 29). The girl was transported by ambulance to the hospital where she was released then arrested for DWI. According to police, blood-alcohol content results are pending. The girl was driving east on 144th Street when she went northeast off the road and up a hill before hitting the house. The Savage police and fire departments responded to the call and the car was towed out of the dining room. An investigation of the crash is pending. (Staff photo and video by Keighla Schmidt) |
